I've always loved the Forth. It's always been my go to place in town. Great beer selection and great food, but if you want great service look elsewhere. Some of the staff there at the moment really don't seem to want to be there and it really shows in their bad attitude and poor service. Not all of them but enough to make me consider a new favourite drinking spot in town.

Fantastic Ales, Beers, Ciders. The food is good too and served my great staff. If your anywhere near central station and have some time. Get you butt to the Forth.

Quick visit while in Newcastle for the football in The Forth Hotel, and the place had a good atmosphere even though Everton beat Newcastle comfortably. Good choice of beers and the staff were very friendly. The place was full, so standing room only but that didn't stop us enjoying ourselves for a quick pint on the way back towards to train station which is only a 2 minute walk away.

Slowest food in history and not particularly good when it arrives. With all the delicious and expeditious food in the local area, it’s amazong this place survives.
